Waukegan, IL – Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) has endorsed Eric Rinehart for Lake County State’s Attorney.

Lauren Underwood is currently serving Illinois’ 14th District in Congress. She is the first woman to represent the 14th District and the youngest black woman ever elected to Congress.
She is a registered nurse and health policy expert with hands-on experience in America’s healthcare industry, which she now carries with her to Washington.
In the 2018 election, Lauren beat a 4-term Republican incumbent by 5 points. She won every single county in our district, something a democrat in IL-14 has never achieved before. In her first term in Congress, she has introduced 30 pieces of legislation, passed 12 through the House, and had 3 signed into law.
