Waukegan, IL – Candidate for Lake County State’s Attorney, Eric Rinehart, reported raising more than $52,000 for the quarter covering 4/1/2020 thru 6/30/2020. Republican incumbent Mike Nerhiem raised $20,100. Rinehart has outraised the incumbent in every quarter since entering the race last year.

As campaigns moved into a new way of communicating with supporters, particularly with tools like Zoom, Rinehart’s campaign has seen increased enthusiasm as stakeholders are beginning to galvanize around his candidacy.

Rinehart has recently received endorsements from the Northeastern Illinois Federation of Labor AFL-CIO, Congressman Brad Schneider, former State Senator Daniel Biss, and many local Lake County elected officials.

“As we focus on developing policies that reduce crime and serve all communities, as well as the new challenges Lake County has faced in the past few months, we continue to be motivated by the increase of support for our campaign. I am humbled by the passion of our supporters who have joined this fight for justice and fairness in Lake County,” said Eric Rinehart.
