Waukegan, IL – Congressman Sean Casten (IL-06), Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10), and Congresswomen Lauren Underwood (IL-14) have endorsed Eric Rinehart for Lake County State’s Attorney. The endorsement represents the entire Lake County Congressional delegation.
“I trust Eric Rinehart’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and equal justice under the law and am proud to support his candidacy for Lake County State’s Attorney. When we talk about law enforcement, we’re really talking about how we can make sure everyone feels safe and protected in their community. I look forward to working with Eric to make that a reality in Lake County,” said Congresswoman Lauren Underwood.
“I am pleased to endorse Eric Rinehart for Lake County State’s Attorney. Eric has demonstrated that he has what it takes to fight every day for the people of Lake County. I know Eric will work tirelessly to reduce violent crime, expand treatment programs for those in need, and pursue criminal justice reform. I am confident Eric will lead in a way that reflects the values of all Lake County’s residents and meet the moment we are in,” said Congressman Brad Schneider.
“I am proud to endorse Eric Rinehart for Lake County State’s Attorney. He knows that true leadership means putting the public first. The only way we will move forward as a community and a country is to elect people who are committed to progress, and Eric shows a steadfast commitment to make the kind of changes we need. Eric will be a great partner and I look forward to working together to serve Illinoisians in the next term.” said Congressman Sean Casten
“I am humbled to receive the endorsement of the entire Lake County congressional delegation following an inspiring week with the Democratic National Convention. The stakes are so high in this election not only at the top of the ticket but for our county-wide offices that desperately need change. As my opponent celebrates this week’s Republican National Convention, I know voters will reject the divisiveness and dishonesty of Trump and choose unity and hope,” said Eric Rinehart.
