(Waukegan, IL) – Today, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker announced his endorsement of Eric Rinehart for Lake County State’s Attorney.
“I am proud to endorse Eric Rinehart for Lake County State’s Attorney. Eric embodies the values of Lake County and has proven that he will fight for those values with the passion, integrity, and vision we need to ensure safer communities now and for years to come,” said Governor JB Pritzker.
Governor Pritzker recently attended an event for Eric Rinehart in Highland Park, where he highlighted Eric’s critical role in advocating for the Illinois assault weapon ban, bail reform, and reproductive choice. Governor Pritzker also noted how Rinehart had assembled “the best team of assistant state’s attorneys he had ever seen” to handle the July 4th parade shooting case.
